A: Yes, we offer home pick-up and drop-off services for Behind-the-Wheel training in select areas.
Behind-the-Wheel Training
Q: How many sessions are required for teen Behind-the-Wheel training?
A: Virginia law requires 7 periods of driving and 7 periods of observation with a licensed instructor for teen students under 18.
Q: Do adult students need to complete observation time?
A: No, observation is not required for adult students. Adults generally complete 3 two-hour driving sessions to qualify for the Adult Waiver program.
Q: Can I schedule driving sessions on weekends or evenings?
A: Yes, we offer flexible scheduling including evenings and weekends to accommodate students' availability.
Driver Improvement Clinic (DIC)
Q: Who needs to take the Driver Improvement Clinic?
A: This course is required for drivers who need to satisfy DMV or court requirements, earn safe driving points, reduce insurance premiums, or reinstate a suspended license.
Q: How long is the Driver Improvement Clinic course?
A: The course is 8 hours long and is available 100% online. A certificate of completion is issued upon passing the final test.
Driver’s Manual Re-Examination (3X Failure Course)
Q: What is the 8-Hour Driver’s Manual Re-Examination Course?
A: This course is required for individuals who have failed the DMV learner’s permit knowledge test three times. It helps prepare them to pass on their fourth attempt.
Q: Is this course offered online?
A: Yes, we offer this course online. Students must be at least 18 years old or provide proof of completing a 30-hour driver education course if under 18.
Q: What kind of proof is accepted for students under 18?
A: A DEC-1 “Orange Card,” DEC-District 8 “Pink Card,” or a certificate from a DMV-approved provider must be submitted before enrollment.

Q: Can I complete my 30-hour driver education course online?
A: Yes. Once launched, our online driver education program will allow students to complete their required 30-hour classroom component at their own pace.
Q: Will I need to take a test in person?
A: Yes, Virginia DMV requires that all students take the final exam at an approved testing site. We will provide information upon registration.

Q: Do I have to wear a seat belt in the back seat in Virginia?
A: Yes. As of July 2025, everyone in the vehicle must be buckled up, regardless of age or where they’re seated. Failure to comply can result in a fine.
