Requirements

•Must already know how to drive
•Must have a valid Driver Education certificate, unless you completed and passed Driver Education in high school
•Must hold a valid Virginia learner's permit

This course is only for experienced drivers. Once you register, our instructor will call or text you within 1–2 business days to schedule your first session.

Who this course is for

The Adult Waiver Course is for adults who already know how to drive; it may not be the right starting point for someone who has never driven. If you are unsure whether your Driver Education certificate qualifies for the high-school exception, contact the school before enrolling and confirm your requirements with the Virginia DMV.
