Alpha Driving School LLC – Terms & Conditions

By enrolling in our services and using our website, you agree to the following terms:

1. Service Description

Alpha Driving School LLC provides DMV-approved driver education, including:

  • Behind-the-wheel instruction
  • Re-examination courses
  • Adult waiver program
  • Online driver education and improvement clinics

2. Payment & Refunds

  • Payment is required at the time of registration.
  • Refunds must be requested in writing before the course begins (minus a $25 processing fee).
  • No refunds are provided once instruction has started.
  • Students must provide at least one hour's notice before the scheduled start time to cancel a session. Cancellations made with less than one hour's notice are subject to the session cancellation rules below.

3. Session Cancellations, No-Shows, and Replacement Sessions

The following rules apply to scheduled driving sessions:

  • If a student has not arrived within 15 minutes after the scheduled start time, the session will be treated as a no-show and cancelled. No refund will be issued.
  • If a student cancels after the scheduled start time and after the instructor has arrived at the designated pick-up location, the session will be cancelled without a refund.
  • For the Under-18 Behind-the-Wheel and Adult Waiver licensing courses, a replacement session may be scheduled for a later date, subject to availability. If a replacement is available, an additional fee equal to the per-session cost will apply, calculated as the course price divided by the total number of sessions.
  • For in-person driving training courses, a session cancelled by the student may or may not be replaced, depending on availability. A replacement session is not guaranteed.
  • If the school must cancel a session, the school will offer and arrange a replacement session for licensing courses to support required course completion. For in-person driving training courses, the student may accept the replacement session or request a refund for the missed session.

4. Course Completion

  • Students must complete all required hours and assessments to receive certificates.
  • Any rescheduled exam, including due to exam failure or missed appointments, will require an additional fee paid by the customer.
  • Completion does not guarantee passing DMV tests.

5. SMS & Email Communication

By opting into our SMS messaging service, you agree to the following terms regarding how we handle your data:

  • Data Collection: We will collect your name, email address, mailing address, and mobile phone number when you sign up for SMS updates. The information will be collected via the website contact form.
  • Data Usage: We use your data solely for replying to: Appointment Confirmations, Course Updates, Customer Support and Follow-ups, Important Service Notifications, Registration Confirmations, Responses to Questions, Conversational Messaging, and Scheduling.
  • Data Security: We protect your data with secure storage measures to prevent unauthorized access.
  • Data Retention: We retain your information as long as you are subscribed to our SMS service. You may request deletion at any time.

MESSAGES AND DATA RATES MAY APPLY: Your mobile carrier may charge fees for sending or receiving text messages, especially if you do not have an unlimited texting or data plan. Messages are recurring, and message frequency varies.

  • Opt-Out: You can opt out of the SMS list at any time by texting, emailing, or replying STOP or CANCEL to contact@alpha-driving-school.com or (703) 634-6340. After unsubscribing, you will receive a final SMS to confirm and we will remove your number from our list within 24 hours.
  • Non-Sharing Clause: We do not share your data with third parties for marketing purposes. Alpha Driving School will not sell, rent, or share the collected mobile numbers.
  • Message frequency: 1–4 messages/month
  • Text HELP for help. Text STOP or CANCEL to unsubscribe.

6. Opt-In and Opt-Out

Opt-in occurs when you submit a course registration form, request information, or contact us. You can opt out at any time by texting STOP or CANCEL, or text HELP for assistance.

7. Limitation of Liability

We are not liable for any damages, injuries, or losses during training. Students must follow all safety rules and instructor directions.

All practice tests and study materials provided on this website are offered "as-is" without any warranties. Alpha Driving School LLC disclaims all liability for any errors, inaccuracies, or omissions in the practice content. Users are solely responsible for verifying information through official DMV resources.

By accessing and using this website, you acknowledge and agree that Alpha Driving School LLC shall not be liable for any damages, losses, or test results that may arise from using the practice materials.

8. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Virginia.
